Today I am going to break away from the norm. This blog is usually just book reviews, but today it is about color. We're all familiar with the color coral. It "pops!" Sometimes it draws your eyes, and other times, it is simply there as an accent color.
People say that you should have at least one item that is coral in your closet. I was thinking about this today when I saw my friend wearing a coral colored T-shirt (pictured below). And I thought, why does it have to just be coral clothing?
Why can't coral be an accent color on people's blogs? It would give them that "pop." Something that makes a person who is "just passing through," actually take an interest in what you are writing just because you have a burst of color on your page.
I think I may try to implement this on my blog (I added it as my "hover color," and I'm pretty pleased with the results.) Maybe you will, too. Maybe not. Either way...it's something to think about.
